Research papers are called for on the following general topics and closely related topics but not restricted to these topics.

1. Smart materials (Piezoelectric, SMA, SMP, MSMA, ER/MR fluid, optical fiber, polymer gel etc.)

2. Applications of smart structures (Vibration damping, SHM, Energy harvesting, morphing, sensing, actuating, smart systems, soft robotics, aerospace, civil, biomedical, non-conventional energy sector, mechanical, automotive, railways, bio-mechanics etc.)

3. Nanomaterials including carbon nanotubes and their applications

4. Micromechanics of smart composites including multiscale analysis of nanocomposites.

5. Production methods of smart materials, nanomaterials and their composites

6. Modelling of smart structures including linear and nonlinear analysis and experiments

7. Control of smart structures and systems

8. Artificial intelligence related to the topics

Conditions :

1. Fees are for single paper and at least one author must register for the paper to be included

2. For multiple paper by one author, as many registrations are required as the number of papers

3. Each registration by presenter/listener includes proceedings, kits, lunch and tea during the days of conference and one dinner

4. Each registration for accompanying person includes lunch and tea during the days of conference and one dinner

5. Fees for presenter and listener registration are same

6. For each registration responsible person must collect coupon for lunch, dinner and tea

7. Certificate will be provided to oral, poster presenters, authors and exhibitors.

Pre-conference workshop

Proposals are sought from leading and experienced researchers to conduct one day pre-conference workshop on any topic of choice related to the theme of the conference. Proposals are requested to be submitted in the format including title, outline, topics, number, title and duration of each lecture, proposed fees for the course, names and brief CV of proposer(s) to nmallik.mec@iitbhu.ac.in . Deadline: 31.03.2020

Proposals of Mini-symposia:

Proposals are sought from leading and experienced researchers to conduct mini-symposium on any topic of choice related to the theme of the conference. Each mini-symposium should include at least five to ten presentations. Proposals are requested to be submitted in the format including title, outline, topics, proposed number of participants including their names, designation, email and affiliation, names and brief CV of proposer(s) to nmallik.mec@iitbhu.ac.in .
